Mascota Vineyards Unanime Wine Honest Review 2024

If you’re looking for a pretty interesting red to introduce your wine-loving friends to, you may want to check out Mascota Vineyards Unanime.  I gave this one a swirl and whirl and was overall pleasantly surprised.  Here are some of the more important things I think you’ll want to know about when decided if this is the right red for you.

Mascota Vineyards Unanime Overview

This particular wine is produced by Mascota Vineyards, a winery located in the Mendoza region of Argentina. Founded back in 2008 by a group of friends who shared a passion for wine and a desire to create high-quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region, it quickly became a hidden gem that’s now much more mainstream.

The Unanime wine is a blend of three different grape varietals, each of which brings its own unique characteristics to the wine.

Cabernet Sauvignon is known for its bold tannins and flavors of black fruit, while Malbec is a softer grape with notes of plum and chocolate. Cabernet Franc adds a spicy complexity to the blend, rounding out the flavors and adding depth.

When all is said and done it’s aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, which helps to add flavors of vanilla, toast, and spice to the wine. The oak also helps to soften the tannins and create a smooth, velvety texture.
