Pros & Cons
Of course, I always feel like each individual beverage is as unique as your own pallete is and can always be subject. Regardless, I put together some pros and cons of this specific Prosecco based on my sampling experience and some things I think you should know.
WHAT I LOVED:
- Affordable price point compared to some other sparkling wines/champagnes.
- Pleasant, fruity aroma with a light, refreshing taste.
- Perfect for your Sunday brunch mimosas.
- Versatile, pairs well with a variety of foods or can be enjoyed on its own.
JUST A HEADS-UP
- May not be as complex or nuanced in flavor compared to some other sparkling wines/champagnes.
- Some may find it too sweet or lacking in acidity, especially when mixing with a juice.
Is La Marca Prosecco a Good Options For Mimosas?
So many of us go for a Prosecco when we’re making mimosas, but not all are created equal.
The good news is that, La Marca’s is actually my personal go-to when making mimosas especially because its light and fruity flavor profile really does pair perfectly with orange juice, making for a refreshing and easy-to-drink mimosa. Its crisp acidity also helps to balance out the sweetness of the orange juice, creating a well-rounded and delicious morning-into-afternoon treat.
Of course, outside of your classic OJ, I also recommend mixing it with pineapple juice or my other personal fave – mango juice. It really smooths it out.
